Dear friends,I have not updated you for a while, because I (like you too) expect the book to be ready, and since it has not yet been published, I thought there was nothing to talk about. But this is wrong, although the process of completing the final product is not yet finished, let me tell you what has been done today.First: the whole process is divided between two companies: printing and binding. I am pleased to inform you that the first stage – the printing of the book is done and done perfectly, thanks to the printing press “Towerlitho” and all the involved specialists. The printed matter has already been handed over to “Anstey Bindery”, and there has been some delay. Despite the working condition of the facility (they are considered to be a “essential” business), the schedule of their work largely depends on the suppliers, and here we have some delay. However, I expect to receive a “dummy” (or sample) – the first real copy of the book for my consideration and approval next week. Sewing of text blocks has already been completed, so before binding the entire run, they prepare one test copy, and after my approval they proceed to the rest.Please forgive me for a certain gap in the update, I hope that everything is fine with you, please be safe during this difficult time.Sincerely, Oleg Lipchenko.
