The cycle of paintings "ROCK AROUND A YEAR" is a representation of a Year as a life time, a long and full life, beginning with Birth and ending with the door of Death. The feeling of sunny rain in June, the foretelling role of August, the impermanence of March and the calm of November - an allegorical, sublime perception of life.
It was started at the beginning, and completed at the end of the year. One picture was painted every month, twelve months a year - twelve pictures in this cycle.
